2nd Annual Body, Mind & Soul – A social CPD in the heart of wine country

Brought to you by your Hamilton, Niagara and Peel CLA Directors along with local crown and defence counsel.

This event is open to lawyers and judges. Continental breakfast, wine tasting with individual charcuterie, and fresh oyster bar with sparkling wine is included. All registrants will also receive a gift at check-in.

Last year’s event attracted a sold out crowd and we are expecting the same thing this year. Spots are limited, so register today to avoid disappointment!

• 9:30 a.m.: Check-in
• 10 to 10:45 a.m.: Yoga in the Vineyard with Gord Akilie (participation optional – continental breakfast will also be available starting at 10 a.m.)
• 10:45 to 11 a.m.: Break
• 11 to 11:45 a.m.: Change Your Mind – Memory, Brain Training & Neuroplasticity with Dr. Heather E. McNeely,  Ph. D., C. Psych – McMaster University, Dept. of Psychiatry & Behavioural Neurosciences; St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton
• 11:45 a.m. to 12 noon: Break
• 12 to 1 p.m.: Jurisprudence & Juice – A curated caselaw and wine tasting with Justice Fraser McCracken & Lauren Wilhelm (to be followed by fresh oysters and sparkling wine)

• $50 plus HST for CLA members and non-members

This is a rain or shine event. There are no refunds. Participants must be of legal drinking age.

We want everyone to get to and from the event safely. If you are interested in carpooling and/or taking public transit, please let us know when you register and we will try to connect interested parties. While there is no direct public transit, GO train service is available from the GTA to Burlington on the Lakeshore West line with GO bus connections to the Park & Ride in Beamsville (approximately 20 minutes from the venue) where uber service is available.
