2022 CLA Women in Criminal Law Dinner

The CLA Women's Committee is thrilled to have the chance to reconnect in person, with those who feel comfortable doing so. Please join us for a set price dinner (with options as to your meal) on the Thursday evening before the Fall Conference - November 17, 2022, 6 to 8 p.m., at TERRONI ADELAIDE, 57 Adelaide Street East, M5C 1K6, Toronto. We have a semi-private space on hold - Sala da Pranzo.

The fee will be $65.00 per person plus HST, which includes a starter, main, dessert (click here to view our set menu), and one beverage of choice (wine, beer, spirit, pop, juice) with coffee/tea. Additional drinks can be purchased directly from the restaurant that night. We have capped this event at 60 people, so if you identify as female and would like to attend, please immediately register - but by no later than 12 noon on Friday, November 11, 2022.

  • Funghi Assoluti Oyster mushrooms baked with parmigiano, bread crumbs, extra-virgin olive oil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, arugula
  • Frittura di Calamari Deep fried lightly floured calamari
  • Rigatoni Arcobaleno Mozzarella di bufala, zucchini, light cherry tomato sauce, basil
  • Rigatoni alla Bolognese Traditional bolognese ragù (pork & beef), parmigiano
  • Attendees must select one of the following (email support@criminallawyers.ca with your preference by November 11):

1. Pesce del Giorno Fish of the day served with a seasonal side
2. Carne del Giorno Meat of the day served with a seasonal side
3. Parmigiana di Melanzane Eggplant, fior di latte mozzarella, parmigiano, tomato sauce, basil

  • Tiramisu Mini espresso soaked savoiardi, mascarpone

PLEASE REVIEW IF ATTENDING:

  1. We highly recommend all in-person attendees be fully vaccinated.
  2. The venue will be following all local government protocols. Refer to https://covid-19.ontario.ca/public-health-measures
  3. Stay home if you feel unwell or are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms. If unwell, we ask you to complete a COVID-19 test and quarantine until a negative result is confirmed. If needed, COVID-19 tests can be purchased locally. Please note, with currently circulating COVID-19 variants, it is common for rapid tests to be unable to detect COVID-19 until several days into infection – hence even if you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19 and are testing negative, please do not attend.
