CLA Accessibility Committee Meet-and-Greet + Escape Room Challenge via Sherlock Escapes

This is a relaxed and family friendly event. Feel free to enjoy dinner or invite your children to participate in solving the challenge via Sherlock Escapes. Fun times to be had by all.

There will be a presentation on Accessibility issues and barriers faced in justice system. Registrants will have the opportunity to participate in interactive team building activities to use the newly learned information. Participants will also be invited to discuss their experiences around overcoming barriers and understanding the impact of these barriers on justice system participants with disabilities.

The goal of this program is to build competency around understanding the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, and educating participants about the realities of living with a disability.

• Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Hours: 1 hour
• Professionalism Hours / Substantive Hours: if hours are not needed for EDI, they can be added to  Professionalism or Substantive)

Registration:

• $5 plus HST – student members/junior active/junior observer members
• $10 plus HST – senior active/senior observer/affiliate members
• $25 plus HST – Non-members
